DIGITAL DIALOGUE 2011

CONFERENCE AND LECTURE
DIGITAL WEEK
at DIA, Dessau
14th – 16h June 2011

Liss C. Werner organizes the conference ‘Digital Week’. The Bauhaus Aula in Dessau was fully packed with lectures discussing state of the art technologies and software tools, paired with critical thinking and reflection. Digital Week brought together not just architects and researchers from the field of computational architecture, but also offered students to show their work and contribute to the discussions. The event also acted as a mile stone for Dessau International Architecture Graduate School, to discuss in where DIA’s the computational studios locate themselves. The best students chosen from each computational studio presented a project on subjects such as material behavior, urban strategies or pattern and ornament.
Many thanks to all the helpers, videographers, photographers (Islam Ibrahim Saleh, Egor Goryachev, lecturers and participants.
