The book ‘Grammar, Code and Computation’, compiles a series of investigations into rule-based generation of form initiated at Taylor’s University, Selangor. Objective was to start from regulated folding techniques in order to arrive at an understanding of topological. modular, digital and applicational differences. The work was initiated by the increasing amount of taxonomic differentiation suggesting urban and architectural solutions according to simple rules. The book presents a glimpse into those very rules and their immanent relationship to computing architectural form.
